Toronto Public Library
 
The TPL allows users to download free electronic books and audiobooks for a 3 week loan period. Click on the link below to search the TPL catalogue for electronic books and audiobooks that you can download to your computer and sync to a variety of electronic devices including iPods.  A Toronto Public Library card is required, but the downloads are free.

Free Audiobooks

Librivox.org allows you to download free audiobooks for your computer or mp3 player.  Here you'll find an extensive collection of audiobooks read by volunteers.  The goal is to record every book that is out of copyright and in the public domain.  Search for the audiobook you want to listen to, download it to your computer and then sync it to your iPod or another mp3 player.http://librivox.org/newcatalog/
